Q. I am a widow of a U.S. Postal Service worker and am receiving a survivor annuity. If I remarry after 55, will I be able to continue my annuity and my federal employee health benefits coverage?

Is there anything said about a post office early out?
My ex-husband (deceased) have 4 children – all adults. One child is in college part-time. My ex-husband passed away in 2012. I went to all avenues to get his pension for his children to no avail.
Unless entitlement to a survivor annuity was included in the court order ending your marriage and that order was filed with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, you would have no legal right to that benefit.
I don’t understand why anyone would think that grown children would be entitled to any pension.
