A. Your eligibility for a VSIP isn’t affected by your age or length of service. However, unlike Voluntary Early Retirement Authority, which may be offered to a larger population, VSIPs are usually confined to areas, occupations and grade levels, where it’s hoped that a financial incentive will be needed to get those employees to leave.
