Disability retirement

Q. I retired on disability retirement 10 months before the age of 55 with 32 years of service. I was able to go back to work after a little over a year. I am restricted to 80 percent of my salary. My question is will this restriction be for the rest of my working life?

A. OPM will no longer ask you to report your earnings after you reach age 60.
