Q: I retired Sept. 30. I have begun receiving my estimated annuity each month. When I begin receiving my FERS supplement, will it include the amounts not paid in the months after I retired but before OPM did my final annuity computations?
A: Yes, it will.

Hello Mr Jones,
After 23 years with the USPS I was awarded a fers disability pension and received backpay for interim period time while waiting for this process to be adjudicated.
My question to you is, when I apply for ssi benefit will the backpay I received be listed as income?
Thank you,
LP
Yes, it will.
I became eligible to receive my FERS annuity on Nov. 1st (actually eligible 10/12) yet I have not received anything. When I called OPM, I was informed that deferred FERS annuities require adjudification and that it would delay my payments. Will I receive backpay to when I was first eligible?
Yes, it will take time for you to be put on the annuity roll. When the adjudication is complete, your annuity will be effective on the date you were first eligible for it. Any back pay to which you are entitled will be included in your first annuity payment.
