Q. I would like to know if anyone has put in a bill to stop the government from stealing from us with the windfall elimination provision and offset laws. All they are doing is robbing Peter to pay Paul.
A. While bills have been introduced in the past to modify or eliminate those provisions, they never got anywhere. At present, no such bills are being considered by the Congress, nor are the likely to be in the current climate.
