If I left USPS to work somewhere else in the private sector, would I be able to collect my annuity payments from USPS every month, or would I have to wait until I retire completely to start collecting?
A. Since you don’t meet the age and service requirements to retire, you would only be eligible for a deferred annuity at age 60.
