Break in service and leave accrual

0

Q. I started working for the federal government in September 2008 and separated in June. If I get rehired into the federal government this month, do I go back to career status and earn six hours of leave since I worked over three years without a break in service? Also, would I be subject to a probationary period again?

A. As a rule, you would regain your career status and earned leave at the higher level.
