A. Because you received your annuity and the full salary of your position, you aren’t eligible for a recomputation of your annuity. For that reason, you will be resigning, not retiring.

I am retired from Veterans Affairs Medical Center and returned to work for 2 and a half years! Now decided to leave and gave two weeks resignation letter! They did a offset and I’ll revived few dollars more in my OPM annuity. Was a resignation letter good since I’m already retired?
Yes, it was the right thing to do. By giving them advance notice, you not only gave them time to reassign anything you were working on to someone else but you were able to bring them up to speed before you left.
