FERS rehire sick leave accrual rate

0

Q. As a FERS rehire, I know that I will get my previous sick leave reinstated, but at what rate? The new rate or at the rate at which I earned it?

A. Assuming you left government before retiring and are now returning to work, your sick leave balance when you left will be restored.

Since all employees, regardless of years of service, earn sick leave at the same rate — four hours per pay period — nothing will change.
