Workers' compensation and annuity

2

Q. I was a postal worker for 12 years when I was injured on the job in 2001 and am now collecting workers’ compensation. Would I receive any retirement benefits at age 65?

A. Not at any age unless your workers’ compensation ends. See www.opm.gov/retirement-services/publications-forms/csrsfers-handbook/c102.pdf?nocache=1.

I have worked 35 years at postal service-I work partime & receive part workers comp—since I earned it how do I get the retire benefits from the postal service if I stay with workers comp? do they give supposed monies I earned in a lump sum?
