Minimum retirement age

0

Q. I resigned with 30 years of federal service. Can I apply for my retirement now at the age of 50?

A. No, you can’t. If you were covered by CSRS, the earliest age at which you could retire is 62. If you were covered by FERS, your minimum retirement age would depend on your year of birth. MRAs range from 55 to 57.
