If my father should pass before her, will the CSRS survivor annuity amount go directly to the nursing home, as well?
A. The annuity will go to your mother. However, you’ll need to find out the terms of the contract signed when she entered the nursing home. I suggest you consult an attorney who can help you find out what her financial obligations are.
