Q. I left government service in 1981 and withdrew my retirement funds. I then re-entered government in 1991 under CSRS and retired in 2009. I am paying back the withdrawn funds every month out of my annuity. How long will they take out these funds from my retirement? It will be 10 years in January 2019. I have been told by others that it will be 10 years, then the money will be put toward my retirement annuity.
Q. Can I withdraw my cumulative retirement funds before I retire?
Q. I applied for Office of Personnel Management disability retirement and I’m currently on leave without pay. Back in April (around the time OPM received my DR application), I noticed the amount in Block 19 dropped from around $8,400 to around $60. Is this somehow related to my DR application, and should I be concerned?

Q. Is the lump sum annual leave paid out with a separate disbursement or is it combined with the last regular paycheck?
Q. I worked for the National Labor Relations Board (FERS) for four years and left to work with California MTA and California Department of Justice (CalPers). Do either of those California state agencies have reciprocity with the federal government? If no, would I be able to purchase the 1 year left to vest in FERS?
Q. I paid 33 quarters into Social Security before retiring from my government job at the age of 55. I worked after to pay my 40 quarters needed to collect Social Security and I was still penalized over 70 percent of my monthly check and was told that had I paid my 40 quarters first before working for the government, that I would receive the full amount. I am very disappointed and feel my government owes myself and thousands of others a lot of back pay.
